Afirma que en las décadas cincuenta y sesenta; “That´s never been really an active group here for some reason, they get active and then they sure died out, so I just stayed at the background” (Por alguna razón aquí nunca ha habido un grupo activo, fueron activos y después desaparecen, así que yo simplemente me quedé en un segundo plano).

I don´t think they are vanish, but I think-you know-they have their options down. Kids grow up, some of are still interested and some of them not. So depends on how many kids grow up and they are interested in their heritage, which I think kids now are getting more interested in their heritage than they used to. So here are a bunch of kids that have Basque backgrounds, then they will be becoming active again.”

Interviewee’s distination

Interviewee’s destination city: Ely

Interviewee’s destination country: Estatu Batuak / Estados Unidos / United States

Interviewee’s destination region: Nevada

Key dates

Year: 1907

Event: El padre de Gloria llega a Estados Unidos

Year: 1914

Event: La madre de Gloria llega a Estados Unidos (abril)

Year: 1915

Event: Nacimiento de su hermano José “Joe”
